Have a pond as I do, are probably around 11,000 liters and read up and down about these filters. I make myself enough own version of pre since these I think are very expensive for upper s simple, but everything has its price =) Have seen at Cloverleaf CL2 and this can I order from the UK, as they do not sell the longer p edokoi cas in denmark :-( Otherwise koiplex a polyester filter Osaka 4 .. shall upper gravity approval and shall be delevis ground / lawn. Pond is located in a little sloping terrain s the optimum, cas put the filter on the lower side of the pond where I have mtt building of embankments. Anybody have input? Regards Lars
The downside? You mean excess cas filter flush with the water surface in the pond? Much media, ease of cleaning is important in larger koifilter. I know little of the actual volume or media volume in these two filters. You fr the purchased many types prefilter, not all are equally precious, you also get purchased lse Siever (slides) cas s to make the rest yourself, but remember that the m made s follow the water level 100% by evaporation or rain. 1 cm incorrect water level does trbbel if you have not made a fiffi detail here.
thank you for your reply. Yes properly upper level with the water, but since the dam is of the gentle cas slopes is easier put the filter on the side where I have had to build an embankment, rather had to dig it completely into the earth . If n made it clear to 110 mm bottom drain quickly be g over the 75 mm if there is transition. Since I pump providing 5500 hours s I think that gjennomstrmningen in 110 mm rr will be a little slow rather quickly through 75mm rr, so that shit "swept" out. One thing I inns free day is that a pre-filter / sieve, with bottom drain connection must have f pump the water out into the filter ... For f max out my pump was it in the end the filter pan s the only pump the water a short distance across the pond, after all, GTT itself with gravity. Do not know what is best? a pre-filter / sieve with the pump that there fr it up in the filter and that it flows from a tube down into the pond or ditch sieve and either create an additional room in the filter vessel that takes grvste. Is black p n fingers, work gloves are worn
Hello again. You can of course skip the sieve, or another form of prefilter. But with sieve stop all particles over 300my and reduces the load on the biofilter tremendously. Is the volume on the biofilter well dimensions and you can separate tmme first chamber without having to tmme the mesh, then the work this as a pre-filter, and works ok without it. You do not f something more lftehyde with a sieve if you mount bioligisk filter 10-20cm above water level. The water itself flows to the sieve, pump trmonteres on this and pumps water into the biofilter which stands slightly higher one water level in the pond. From here, although it flows into the 110mm rri pond. UV-C light? I think the ideal here is mount 110mm Uv-c on the way out of the pond. Then do not you kill bacteria on the way into the biological filter. It is spoken warmly of the bottom drain, just pass on that rrfr valve freezing winter. Surface water is also good f directly via a skimmer in a professional koi pond. Before you out foam, blomsterstv and leaves an ongoing basis before you clear finish and cleaner pond.
