Hey It's almost time to put the top coat on the project and I need some advice before I continue. Until now I have sandblasted and polished to bare steel where it was needed. The car has original paint from 1976 there where it was ok just frosted me. Then: 1 Hagmans 2k epoxy primer 2 Hagmans flexible 2k - polyester filler (several times!) 3 Hagmans 2k epoxy primer 4 and then: is Hagmans Spray Filler 900 2k an ok product? -Can topcoat laid directly on the spray filler (after sanding of course) or is it too porous and absorbs topcoat? Some recommend that after spray filler used poyurethane primer what is a compound surfacer because it is harder and a better surface finish. The reason that I use and ask Hagmans products is that they are easily accessible (Mekonomen) and an OK price. Topplacken I will be using is Valspar 2k Acryllack MI
