In this study, the kinetics and mechanism of the synthesis of NH3 on surface model catalysts (Fe (100 and K / Fe (100) are studied., For this work, the kinetics of absorption systems (100) N2/Fe and (100 ) H2/Fe was investigated. using statistical mechanics calculations, the adsorption coefficient for molecules hno2 and 2H 2N different states and transition probability of absorption and decomposition were determined. then, the effect of temperature on the catalyst surface and the gas pressure of N2 and H2 on the reaction rate ( TOF) method. mechanism of ammonia synthesis by LH surface reactions model was proposed. Based on the simulation results obtained, the activation energy for the reaction (100) Fe and K / Fe (100) for surface coating of potassium (qk = 0.1), respectively, 19.6 kcal / mole and 11.1 was determined. well as reaction times for both temperature and pressure ranges of the system unit case study PN2 (the positive) and independent of temperature and for PH2, negative (destructive role ) and temperature-dependent, respectively.
