Lella Baines Lewis died at the age of 77 Friday September 6, 2013. She was born to the late Mary and George Baines in Brunswick County North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her son Lindsay Lewis III. Lella moved to Nash County in 1986 and worked at the Waffle House until her retirement in 2002.
She is survived by her husband Lindsay Lewis Jr of Spring Hope along with her 2 children Mark Lewis(Crystal) of Rocky Mount and Sharon Lewis of Spring Hope and 6 grandchildren Crystal, Alana, Christopher "Kipper", Crista "Shay", Alexis and Christina. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 8, 2013 from 2 PM until 4 PM at Johnson Funerals and Cremations, 661 English Road, Rocky Mount NC, 27804
